Located at the corner of Smythe & Balcombe street is the beautiful Corinella public reserve park and children's playground .
Bequeathed to the people of Corinella in 1936, by early land owner and long time resident of Corinella, Mr Harold Hughes .
Childrens Playground Tennis & BBQ's
Corinella park is placed in the towns centre and is in a setting of native bush and gum trees, the park has a very pleasant open feel and is fully equipped ready for your family picnic with several free electric BBQ's many picnic tables, bench seats and even a rotunda for shade on those warmer days!
A tennis court backs onto the park that you may use too! just visit the Corinella general store to obtain a key and you can enjoy a few sets of tennis with your family and friends while the BBQ is cooking!
The children's playground is here also and it is a brightly colored well maintained set of swings and slide, fun climbing adventure etc' This park is a lovely place to come for a picnic and to entertain your young ones.
Often you will see many native birds too, Kookaburra's, Corella's , Galah's and other parrots including Rosella's and Lorikeet's all enjoying the natural bush setting with you! Only a half a minute's walk to the general store to buy those fish & chips drinks ice creams & icy poles as well .
A toilet convenience is also located within the park grounds and fresh water is available near the BBQ's, Your pet dog on a leash is permitted here also !
