Located at the corner of Smythe & Balcombe street is the beautiful Corinella public reserve park and children's playground .

Bequeathed to the people of Corinella in 1936, by early land owner and long time resident of Corinella, Mr Harold Hughes .

Corinella History Trail

This important project was completed by Corinella Foreshore Reserve Committee of Management, 
a Corinella History Trail featuring storyboards on timber pedestals that tell a story of times past at Corinella.

Located at the forefront of the Harold Hughes Public Park & Reserve the storyboards give the visitor a visual description of locations throughout Corinella that were and still are important features of Corinella,  it speaks of the people and places and pastime that helped shape Corinella.
You Can visit this special display at Harold Hughes Reserve and see a map pointing to the areas where these events occured or places of interest are located.    History Trail Page





Children's Playground Tennis & BBQ's

Corinella park is located in the towns centre and is in a setting of native bush and gum trees, the park has a very pleasant open feel and is fully equipped area ready for your family picnic with several free electric BBQ's many picnic tables, bench seats and even a rotunda for shade on those warmer days!

Often you will see many native birds here too, Kookaburra's,
Corella's, Galah's and other parrots including Rosella's and
Lorikeet's all enjoying the natural bush setting with you.

A brand new set of Cricket Practice nets are now installed ready for your use, also Basketball practice ring is here also

A tennis court backs onto the park that you may use too!
just visit the Corinella general store to obtain a key and you can enjoy a few sets of tennis with your family and friends while the BBQ is cooking!

The children's playground is here also and it is a brightly colored well maintained set of swings and slide, fun climbing adventure etc' This park is a lovely place to come for a picnic and to entertain your young ones.

Only a half a minute's walk to the general store to buy those fish & chips drinks ice creams & icy poles as well .

A toilet convenience is also located within the park grounds and fresh water is available near the BBQ's, Your pet dog on a leash is also permitted here.
